arete Australia has successfully completed Stage 2 of the Craigieburn Community Hospital development, marking a key milestone in the delivery of modern, accessible health infrastructure for Melbourne’s northern growth corridor.
Part of the Victorian Government’s Community Hospitals Program, the project enhances the existing Northern Health Craigieburn Centre, creating additional capacity for Telehealth, back of house functions, audiology and dialysis and Allied Health services.
Undertaken within a live operational environment, the development focused on improving and expanding use of the existing site footprint. Stage 2 works included targeted refurbishment of the current facility, which were delivered in parallel with the main construction activities to streamline the overall program.
This expansion will ease pressure on surrounding hospitals such as the Northern Hospital in Epping and support more people to access the care they need, closer to home.
