Ten years ago, arete Australia was established with a clear vision: to deliver fitout, interiors and refurbishment projects with excellence, collaboration and a strong client focus.
Since launching in 2015, we have grown into a trusted business known for our adaptability, capability and commitment to quality. Over the past decade, we have delivered a diverse range of projects across the health, science, education, tourism and commercial sectors.
The name arete, derived from the Greek word for “excellence”, has helped shape who we are from the very beginning. Over the past 10 years, that pursuit of excellence has been reflected not only in the quality of the projects we deliver, but also in the way we have grown and evolved, embraced innovation, and built lasting partnerships with our clients, consultants and subcontractor workforce.
To celebrate this milestone, we gathered at the Australian Sports Museum, a project we were proud to deliver in 2020. Rich with iconic stories of teamwork, achievement and sportsmanship, and deeply connected to the spirit of Melbourne, it was a fitting place to reflect on a decade built on partnership, shared success and a commitment to excellence.
The evening was an opportunity to reflect on our story, from our early beginnings as a bold new venture to the respected business we are today. More importantly, it was a chance to acknowledge the people and relationships that have shaped our journey along the way.
