Richard is Joint Managing Director of Kane Constructions and plays a key leadership role across the broader business, including arete Australia. Since joining Kane in 2005, he has been closely involved in the delivery, commercial performance and continued development of the business.

With a career grounded in project delivery, Richard brings deep practical construction knowledge, strong commercial judgement and a clear understanding of the complexities involved in delivering successful projects.

Richard is closely involved in major projects, key client relationships and commercial decision-making across Kane and arete. His practical approach, strong negotiation skills and ability to navigate complex project environments have made him a trusted leader among clients, consultants and project teams.

Working alongside the wider leadership team, Richard plays an important role in ensuring the business continues to deliver with certainty, maintain strong commercial discipline and build long-term relationships through consistently successful project outcomes.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Building Engineering) from Victoria University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Melbourne.
