Richard is Joint Managing Director of Kane Constructions, with leadership responsibility across the broader group, including arete Australia.

With a career grounded in project delivery, Richard brings deep practical construction knowledge, strong commercial judgement and extensive experience navigating complex project and commercial environments. His strengths lie in major project oversight, risk, negotiation and achieving balanced outcomes for clients and the business.

Since joining Kane in 2005, Richard has played an important role in the continued growth and performance of the business, drawing on his delivery experience to support key decisions and long-term client relationships.

As part of the wider leadership team, Richard helps guide the ongoing direction of the business, with a focus on commercial strength, major project performance and enduring relationships.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Building Engineering) from Victoria University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Melbourne.
