In March 2021, arete Australia commenced a project to refurbish Building F at the Dandenong Campus of the Chisholm Institute of TAFE. The institute engaged our team to create a new space for students that not only provides a dedicated lounge area but also holistic, wrap-around support.
The primary objective of this student hub is to empower and encourage students to remain engaged in their studies, reducing attrition rates and strengthening their career readiness and employability.
The newly designed layout features a new reception and private waiting area, consulting rooms and office spaces, open-plan workstations, kitchen and tea points, workshop area, open meeting and eating spaces, a student lounge, amenities, store room, comms room and plant room.
The project was successfully completed by arete in June 2021. Providing a modern and functional space for students to study, connect and thrive.
