arete Australia were awarded and completed the Melbourne East Police Station Fitout project. The project included the fitout of the ground floor and levels 2 and 3 of Building 202 for the new Melbourne East Police Station. the ground floor fitout included all the standard victoria police station items: Watch house/Reception, Interview Rooms, Holding Cells, Offices, Amenities and new Shopfront and Canopy.
Levels 2 and 3 consisted of the fitout of large office space, these spaces will house open plan offices, kitchens, amenities, meeting rooms, training rooms, sleeping quarters, equipment distribution, COMMS, End of trip facilities including a gym and housing the bike squad. The fitout design is to suit high level security requirements, key areas to ASIO standards.
