arete Australia's Victorian team collaborated with architects DesignInc to deliver a new executive office space for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. The project was located on Level 13 of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Clinic and aimed to provide health service researchers with a collaborative zone to encourage innovation and productivity.
The project involved a comprehensive fitout that included the construction of a large boardroom, multiple meeting spaces, quiet rooms, open plan work areas, and offices. A sizable breakout area was also incorporated into the design that could be used as a flexible event space for functions, workshops, lectures and training.
In addition to the construction works, the project included the supply and installation of workstations and loose furniture. This ensured that the space was fully equipped and ready for use as soon as the fitout was completed.
Throughout the project, arete worked closely with the architects and stakeholders to ensure that the design was delivered to the highest standard. The team also managed the procurement and coordination of all subcontractors, ensuring that the project was delivered on time and within the allocated budget.
The end result was a beautiful and functional executive office space that met the needs of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre's health service researchers. The new space provided an environment that supported collaboration, innovation, and productivity, while also incorporating elements that promoted wellbeing and comfort.
