arete Australia was awarded the University of Melbourne Bio21 Level 4 Refurbishment project in March 2020.
The Bio21 Level 4 laboratory fitout was located on the west wing of the David Penington Building (B102). arete worked closely with the project consultants Scarborough Architects and Umow Lai to complete this project for The University of Melbourne.
Works included the supply and install of a new coolroom, new benches, sinks, removable overhead shelving and new joinery, alterations to existing Lab Gases and removal and make good of existing Fume Cupboards.
This project reached Practical Completion in the June 2020.
