Melbourne Connect is a digital and data science powerhouse, co-locating innovative organisations, start-ups and SMEs with the University's interdisciplinary expertise, creativity and graduate talent. It is designed as a place for collaborative innovation, fostering connections and continuous knowledge exchange between industry and the whole University. The Fitout took place on Level 1 of the Melbourne Connect Building. The space will be divided into five areas, four of the areas will be dedicated to four individual engagement groups, with the 5th area to be a shared community space.
Fitout of Co-working space (Level 1) – approx. 1,062sqm. Specific Scope of Works include:
- Supply and install all internal walls, screens, doors, bulkheads, ceilings, and floors
- Supply and install all services including but not limited to mechanical, fire, electrical, communication, audio visual, and hydraulic services
- Supply and install all fixtures, fittings, and equipment including but not limited to furniture, planters, lockers, blinds, curtains, whiteboards, sinks, tap fittings, zip boilers, fridges, dishwashers, sandwich press, coffee machines, TV’s, audio systems
