arete Australia has successfully completed the ground floor remodelling works at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM), located on Swanston Street, Carlton.
The 797sqm internal refurbishment, complemented by 141sqm of external works, has delivered a new south-west entrance along with upgraded circulation spaces, waiting areas, information centres, staff facilities, patient interview rooms and non-clinical consulting areas.
The project has transformed the main entry and foyer experience, creating a more modern, functional and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff. Works also addressed compliance upgrades, including improvements to fire services, while optimising the flow of patients entering and exiting the hospital.
Through these upgrades, Oral Health Victoria now has a revitalised front-of-house space that reflects the importance of the Royal Dental Hospital Of Melbourne as a key oral healthcare facility in Victoria, serving both community needs and clinical education.
The completed works deliver a more accessible, efficient and inviting facility that will benefit patients and staff for years to come.
