In 2016, arete Australia embarked on an ambitious renovation project at Deakin University's Building C. Engaged under a Lump Sum contract, our team was tasked with executing comprehensive backlog works across five levels of the building.
The scope of works included:
- Floor Finishes
- Ceiling Tile Replacements
- New Joinery Items
- Office and Toilet Area Refurbishment
The project presented a unique challenge, particularly for Levels 4 and 5. These areas required careful planning and execution due to the need to rework existing furniture within limited space constraints. Our team rose to the occasion, demonstrating our problem-solving and commitment to client satisfaction.
Through meticulous planning and execution, arete Australia successfully delivered the project on time, meeting the critical handover deadlines for all levels, including the challenging Levels 4 and 5. The renovated spaces now provide Deakin University with modernised, efficient, and attractive environments that enhance the learning and working experience for students and staff alike.
