arete Australia has completed the upgrade and refurbishment of the Narre Warren Police Station, delivering a modern, functional facility that supports Victoria Police and the growing Casey community.
The project was delivered in two carefully planned stages to ensure continuous police operations throughout construction. Stage one involved the establishment of a temporary facility, allowing staff to remain fully operational while refurbishment works were undertaken. Stage two delivered a comprehensive transformation of the existing two-storey station.
The upgrade includes a reconfiguration of internal spaces to improve functionality and operational flow, alongside significant upgrades to essential building services including electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. Key improvements include enhanced custody and prisoner processing areas, refurbished cells, additional interview and AVL rooms, and upgraded public-facing facilities.
Works also addressed compliance with current building standards, accessibility requirements and security infrastructure, while external upgrades improve the building’s durability and overall presentation.
