The project included demolition and refurbishment works to create six specialty laboratories and a technical workspace, all designed to meet the requirements of advanced research.
The facility now provides purpose built environments that support pioneering studies into microcombs technology, enabling researchers to build on recent breakthroughs in physics, materials science and nanofabrication. By creating spaces specifically tailored to innovation, the project has opened new opportunities for exploration across a range of scientific and technological fields.
